    This thick, rich hand (and foot, and body) scrub is great to exfoliate dead skin and pamper hard working extremities the way they deserve to be pampered!

    Ingredients:
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    1/4 cup shea butter
    1/4 cup sweet almond oil
    1/2 teaspoon honey
    1 teaspoon lemon essential oil
    1 tablespoon whipping cream

    Blending Procedure:

    1. Combine shea butter, almond oil and honey in a heat proof cup (I use Pyrex). Place the cup in a pan of boiling water and stir the ingredients until the shea butter is nearly melted. Remove from heat and stir well.

    2. Add the sugar and stir. Add the whipping cream (or use whole milk if you''d like) and stir. Add the essential oil last and stir well to combine.

    3. If using only on your hands, you can do this over the sink. If using on feet, sit in the tub or stand in the shower (be careful not to slip -- ingredients are oily!), scoop a handful of Hand Aid into palm and massage gently and generously over hands. Get in between fingers and massage well over and around nails and cuticles. Move up your forearm to your elbows and scrub there too! Follow the same procedure for your feet.
