I was fiddling around with some whipped shea that I had made and came up with this. For people that find normal bath oils greasy and offensive, this may be a great alternative.

    Ingredients:
50g (about 1.75 ounces) whipped shea butter
300g (about 10.5 ounces) baking soda
150g (about 5 ounces) citric acid
150g (about 5 ounces) Epsom salts

    Blending Procedure:

    1. Whip the shea butter using a hand held mixer for about 15 minutes. It will increase considerably in volume, taking on a light fluffy texture. Set aside.

    2. Combine the dry ingredients and mix well. Add the dry ingredients to the whipped shea, a little at a time, working it through with a balloon or pastry whisk.

    3. This will take a bit of time and at first, it may seem as if you will end up with a clump! But persevere until you have a fine powdery blend.

    4. Package the mixture powder into airtight jars and include a scoop.

    5. To use, add 2 to 3 tablespoons to your warm bath water. Slink in and enjoy!

"I love this recipe! I didn't have no more shea butter so I substitute olive oil butter and I didn't have epsom sailt so I use sea salt. Also I use jasmine essential oil. Not only did my skin feel soft but it smell so so good. It was really easy and fast!"
