    Blending Procedure:

    1. Combine the sugar and oil in a container and mix until a pasty consistency forms. Add your extract (or leave it unscented if you want to!) and stir to combine.

    2. To use, just massage gently over damp skin to lightly exfoliate your skin. Do not use on broken, irritated or scarred skin. This mixture will keep for 6 months to a year. To maximize shelt life, keep it in an air tight glass container to slow oxidation of the oil. Enjoy!!

    Comments:

"This scrub is ok, yet only use it if you have really dry skin as the oil is really effective. Also don't get the stuff in your eyes because it makes them blurry for a couple of hours as I learnt! Nothing dangerous though."

"Love it! I used it last night and my skin is still silky. You definitely need to use a bath mat with it though to prevent slipping."

"This scrub is great! I have really dry skin, so the oil works wonders. I used grapeseed oil insted of olive oil, and it feels sensational! I tripled the recipe and stored it in an air tight container. This now replaces my shop brought scrub! Good Work!"

"I made this using sweet almond oil instead of olive oil, and slightly increased the proportion of sugar as it was very oily. It was great! Now I don't need to buy a sugar scrub any more, I can make it. Thanks!"

"Cool...(my first time at this site). I've only purchased scrubs from bed/bath stores. Many may know this, but I've found if I exfoliate my legs BEFORE I shave them, the oil helps to to make the shave closer (I think anyway). Of course, the soft skin afterwards is always a plus...especially living in dry Las Vegas, NV."

"It's great! I use body wash mixed with it instead of olive oil because I don't like the smell of olive oil. It works great with body wash!"

"I have started using this scrub and it is the best ever! It's better than anything I've used in the stores, I used the advice and mixed it with grapeseed oil, it feels so great. Another good extract to put in it is Strawberry extract, it smells so yummy and give the scrub a light pink color!"

"This is my exact recipe, except I also add sea salt and vitamin E. After patting yourself dry, gently massage excess oil into your skin. I have several clients that work in a doctors office and they wash their hands often and they love this scrub, as it keeps their hands moisturized. Olive Oil is my preferred oil for my Body Polish. However, I've heard sunflower and grapeseed oils are also great."

"While I felt like the recipe was a tad too oily, I couldn't believe what it did for my skin. Excellent recipe (just cut down on the oil, I think)."

"love it! i made this and several other recipies as christmas gifts for my mom.instead of vanilla i used a little bit of peppermint extract for that candy candy smell. i tested it out first, it works great! be carful as the oil can make the tub and pretty much any flat surface slippery."
