Blending Procedure:
"This scrub is ok, yet only use it if you have really dry skin as the oil is really effective. Also don't get the stuff in your eyes because it makes them blurry for a couple of hours as I learnt! Nothing dangerous though." "Love it! I used it last night and my skin is still silky. You definitely need to use a bath mat with it though to prevent slipping." "This scrub is great! I have really dry skin, so the oil works wonders. I used grapeseed oil insted of olive oil, and it feels sensational! I tripled the recipe and stored it in an air tight container. This now replaces my shop brought scrub! Good Work!" "I made this using sweet almond oil instead of olive oil, and slightly increased the proportion of sugar as it was very oily. It was great! Now I don't need to buy a sugar scrub any more, I can make it. Thanks!" "I love this! I used this as a party favor for my 12th birthday party. You can use any kind of fragrence you want, and it makes your skin really soft. It's nice." "This scrub is great - so easy to make and works a treat. Going to invest in an airtight jar this weekend to have a constant supply ;o)" "Love it!! tryna get ready for my bikini! great for lower bun area :) knees and elbows." "really sounds lovely. it really works! i love it! it also replaces my STORE BOUGHT LOTION. i make this every other day to the very least. i love it .i never can make something like this its perfect for everyone with dry skin!!!! ill use it again." "I put it on my face and left it there for a while, cleaned it off,and put cream on and my face was the softest ever!Thank you so much." "Cool...(my first time at this site). I've only purchased scrubs from bed/bath stores. Many may know this, but I've found if I exfoliate my legs BEFORE I shave them, the oil helps to to make the shave closer (I think anyway). Of course, the soft skin afterwards is always a plus...especially living in dry Las Vegas, NV." "I love this recipe! It really is the easiest Body Sugar Scrub Ever!" "The scrub worked better than anything i have ever purchased.I added less oil as my skin usually is not very dry, and it worked wonders. my palms were a little sore from the scrub but the payoff is worth it." "Wow, sounds easy enough, I have really dry skin and I love to make new things! And I don't have to go out and buy a bunch of essential oils and hard things, all you need is acouple of kitchen supplies! -- sweetiepi900" "This scrub is great. I made a couple batches for Christmas presents and they went over great. Very, very quick and easy to make, and they last a good while." "I love this scrub. It left my face feeling soft. I took a quick bath with it on(I didnt wsh my hair or anything, I just soaked in the warm water) and I felt so relaxed and beautiful afterwards!:)" "It's great! I use body wash mixed with it instead of olive oil because I don't like the smell of olive oil. It works great with body wash!" "you should definatly sell it to people it is so yumolicious!" "I have started using this scrub and it is the best ever! It's better than anything I've used in the stores, I used the advice and mixed it with grapeseed oil, it feels so great. Another good extract to put in it is Strawberry extract, it smells so yummy and give the scrub a light pink color!" "This is my exact recipe, except I also add sea salt and vitamin E. After patting yourself dry, gently massage excess oil into your skin. I have several clients that work in a doctors office and they wash their hands often and they love this scrub, as it keeps their hands moisturized. Olive Oil is my preferred oil for my Body Polish. However, I've heard sunflower and grapeseed oils are also great." "While I felt like the recipe was a tad too oily, I couldn't believe what it did for my skin. Excellent recipe (just cut down on the oil, I think)." "love it! i made this and several other recipies as christmas gifts for my mom.instead of vanilla i used a little bit of peppermint extract for that candy candy smell. i tested it out first, it works great! be carful as the oil can make the tub and pretty much any flat surface slippery." "This is amazing! Before my 10th birthday i took a shower and before i after i shaved my legs i put this stuff on and it felt soooo silky smooth on my legs! :):)" Only registered users may rate recipes.
