Lemon Cucumber Mask

This is an especially good mask to loosen the pores of oily skin, thus facilitating the cleansing process. The lemon myrtle essential oil is great for oily skin and also has a fresh and uplifting lemon scent!

Ingredients: 1/2 cucumber 1 egg white 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon lime juice 1 teaspoon apple mint leaves (or peppermint leaves) 1 drop lemon myrtle essential oil

Blending Procedure:

1. Combine all ingredients except essential oil in a food processor or blender and puree for 5 minutes until smooth. Add the essential oil and stir to incorporate. Place the mixture in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to thicken it a bit.
   
   
2. To use, apply the mixture to your clean face while it is still cool and leave it on for 20 minutes. Rinse off (and gently!) with warm water and a soft cloth to loosen your pores, and then rinse with cool water to finish your treatment. Follow with a moisturizer as usual.
   
   
3. This mixture has a short shelf life due to the egg white. It should be used within a few hours of making.
